Maximising opportunities for people through creative arts and media
What we do
At TAPE we are passionate about creativity and believe it can inspire and transform communities.

We offer a broad range of creative opportunities for groups and individuals in inclusive, safe and supportive environments.
TAPE is a charity that is open to everyone. Our team and facilities support hands-on experiences and opportunities in areas such as filmmaking, audio production, music, photography, VR, design, creative writing, podcasting and much more.
​
Our timetable includes weekly workshop sessions such as the Backstage Youth Clubs, Writer's Room, Ghostbuskers and Animation Club, as well as events, cinema screenings, bespoke projects, training and much more. Activities take place at the TAPE Community Arts Centre and as
outreach projects across North Wales.
​
TAPE supports accredited learning and is an Agored Approved Centre.
​

TAPE Community Arts Centre
Located in Min y Don Park in Old Colwyn our accessible and inclusive community arts centre is home to much of our activity including many of our weekly workshops.
​
With a focus on accessibility and a diverse range of creative resources the centre offers a professional, supportive space for performances, media production, audio recording, cinema screenings, exhibitions, conferences, meetings, events, parties and more.
​
Room hire: available from £10 per hour
Recording Studio: £30 per hour or £200 per day with an engineer

TAPE's second feature film is nearly here!!
The film is now in the post-production phase having been shot across North Wales throughout 2019.
